So today is the day that the project is born. Though, still in its infancy, I look forward to the next steps. Here we go....

I'm assuming this is where I'm supposed to comment. Okay. So here goes:

Getting a partner was the hardest part of this project for me. Especially since I am an introvert who is awkward with everyone I know. And an avoider of everyone I don’t know. My partner isn’t even someone I know well (I even forgot her existence before my mom suggested her), but I guess that was for the best, because I knew her enough to not actively avoid her.. yet didn’t know her enough to not feel (overly) awkward wanting her to be my partner (and, thus, giving her extra homework). Also, my mom did most of the interacting (through texting), so that was good.

Actually making the VoiceThread video wasn’t all that bad. In fact, it was kinda fun. (Mostly the voicing though. The pictures being required to follow the Rule Of Thirds/Composition had me retaking a lot of pictures. Especially of my lunch. At school. Which.. was a bit (a lot) embarrassing because who the heck does that??) Or, well, kinda fun before I remembered everybody in my class was gonna see it. (And my partner too, I guess.) But it was still fun because I guess Insecurities and Logic are asleep between 3:00 AM and 6:59 AM. But so is my voice’s strength. (So I had to re-record a lot of stuff over and over...)

The interaction was beneficial because iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit……...uh. (*Researches the definition of beneficial*) Because I could interact with someone far away by turning my voice and images in my area into a talking slideshow that would get the point across (using the pictures) and prevent misunderstandings about what I mean (using the tone of voice I used)! (Ha-hA, yes! Nailed it! ......Maybe. Probably. (It’s not between 3:00 AM and 6:59 AM so Insecurities is back. Darn.)

I'm so happy to hear you had a good experience and were able to get out of your comfort zone. Concurring your fears is a big deal and a great accomplishment on your part. I wish you the best in future projects. Thank you for sharing.
